Wednesday 16 February 2011: Fir, Cedar and Smoke
No, the forest isn't burning down! We spent a good part of the day cleaning up fallen branches and burning them. Altho there are good fire pictures, I thot this one of the smoke was more interesting - I never before have noticed that the sky turns pinkish thru the smoke.
Power out for a couple hours today. No rain. Good day to burn. Also made a fire in the sauna, for our aching bones, and one to heat the cabin. Enuf. Time to lay the bones down.
