Thursday 17 February 2011: Belle Vue Mills
This is near where I live and they have spent the last 2 years renovating it to make fancy flats and houses. It used to be a card manufacturers (KCNY!) and in a previous life I had a temping job on the reception desk for a week before Christmas.
I am glad they are renovating it as it is a fantastic bit of industrial architecture but there are so many mills like this around I do wonder how many can be kept like this one.
Not much to report today and have to dash to get Bob to his swimming lesson.
