A demonstration of ambivalence

Billed a as protest stunt to auction off the Council House in Bristol; highlighting objections to spending cuts. And to drum up support for a demo march on the weekend.

The event itself turned out to be a damp squib. The 5 people who'd bothered to turn up to protest were easy out numbered by the 10 people with cameras who (like Roxy and I) had come to try their hands at a little photo journalism.

It rather bought to mind Father Ted and Dougal handcuffed to a railing ?down with that sort of thing?
