Portrait of the blipper as a young man.
Found this old photo quite by accident.
Says on the back of the photo "wiping the rain off, 1973", so I was three when my mum took this.
I am the long haired, roll necked wearing kid.
The doggy on my left was Packo; he loved me dearly but within a few years went off "to live on a farm in Rochdale" (a story exists there, for another day), and my dad is cleaning off my car.
And as I've got older, I've inherited his bald spot. I just don't have the dodgy seventies hair to match.
