Saturday 19 February 2011: Is Gin A Good Idea?
As she was trying to leave the flat
I was hanging on to her ankles.
I think I said, 'If you go
I'll kill the cat.'
Of course, I meant to say,
'If you go I'll kill myself.'
'Pathetic!' was her last word
as she kicked me away.
The cat was half way through
when she unwittingly slammed
the door on him. He loves her
too.
Right now I need a slug
of something sharp and wet.
And then I'd better call
the vet.
