Saturday 19 February 2011: Frozen pike
Another 1.5 hour walk on the sea ice... -15 C this afternoon and it really felt warmer after experiencing the -20 C walk. We found an abandoned pike on the ice near an ice fishing hole, guess some fisherman didn't want it and left it for the wild animals to eat. The pike was huge (approximately 4kg), but we liked its head the best, so we decided to blip the head only.
