Saturday 19 February 2011: One of the many things I love about Scotland......

Lichen!

Went for a walk round Doune Castle today. the main attraction from the boys point of view not being the big castle but in fact the sewage works which we appeared to circumnavigate! and who can blame them? sewage works are fascinating, but then I am an environmental scientist at heart.
