The Mrs. Red Bird

I've been wanting to photograph the Mrs. Northern Cardinal, but she's not one to sit very long for a portrait. This morning, she was close to the kitchen window, so I thought I'd better hurry before she leaves. All this happening before coffee & breakfast, how could one hurry haha :D

She is of course not as bright red as her husband, the Mr. Northern Cardinal. She does have the tinges of red. Her most notably feature is her bright red beak... It is quite powerful.

Much has been written about the lipstick color that she wears, I do wish I could wear that color as well as she does.
