Sunday 20 February 2011: The slippery slope ..
It's been such a long time since I posted a sporty blip so I donned 4 layers of clothing and headed off to the Cross Country. Conditions for spectating were bad enough and the day was grey again and pretty raw. There was a good turn out as usual and they so enjoyed crossing the freezing cold stream not once but 3 times on their circular route around the course. Their facial expressions show just how much they are relishing the thought of that cold water.I joined in shouting words of encouragement and they sportingly did not curse back. Well done boys - and girls - a different way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
