Sunday 20 February 2011: Magpie magpie glitter me
Walked around the terribly chi chi Spitalfields Market today. I remember when this were all fields ... no, I don't, obviously - but I do remember when this was a run down derelict barely used market, and threatened with the bulldozer. Somehow the fight was won, and it stayed - and looking at it today must be generating a lot of income through tourism and the natives.
This was in a lovely shop called Dolly Dare. Of course, being sparkly it pulled me in.
