Tuesday 22 February 2011: The single most strangest 15 minutes of my life
Sorry for the close up of my feet!
Today some bright spark (Odey!) suggested that as a branch of 'appy feet' had opened in Leeds, we all give it whirl.
I will usually try anything once and strangely enough had absolutely no qualms with the idea of putting my feet in a tank of fish which would then nibble away all the dead skin (hopefully stopping before they reach bone!) I even happily sat and watched amused as others tentatively put their feet in the tanks and shrieked and giggled away.
I didn't think I would be one of those uncontrollable shrieking mad women that you tut at in such situations! Yup apparently I am.
to be fair I do have very ticklish feet, however it didn't cross my mind how weird and ticklish it would be to have fish gnawing away on my flesh! As you put your feet in they zoom straight in and literately do nibble!! very ticklish on the soles. I think I caused quite as much hilarity with my colleagues, as the fish did on their feet!
Oh well try everything once and then decide if it s for you - I don't think I'll be doing this particular thing again though.
