The Day After......

.....& it has just got worse & worse - heart wrenching, heartbreaking, what a terrible, traumatic, devastating situations Christchurch is in. So many deaths, the toll will increase sadly, as many people will not be bought out from the rubble alive. So many people lost their lives, others have lost their loved ones, workmates & friends, many many have lost their homes, their livelihood, & we wonder how they will go on.

Even Timaru, a little south from Christchurch, the shake was horrendeous, but little damage only to the nerves. Sadly, we have lost a Timaru citizen, he was in the Christchurch catherdral repairing the organ damaged from the first quake last September, a thoroughly lovely chap, terrible. As of tonight the toll is 75 confirmed deaths, 300 still missing, not good.

All our close friends and family are OK, one family has now not got a home any more, their little children are in bad shape.

This puts one owns problems into perspective.

I appreciate your Prayers, concerns and thank you for your comments...you all are such a caring group of friends.....thank you all from the bottom of my heart. Tears just keep coming ...........I haven't been commenting, just haven't felt up to it.
