Cross Polarisation

Straight out the camera.

In the days before digital and photoshop we still liked to try some special effects or image manipulation. It was just a lot more difficult. Mostly it had to be a filter on the front of the lens at the taking stage, or else some darkroom tricks at the processing stage. There were a few other ways of achieving unusual effects but nothing like the number available today.

Cross Polarisation was one I always liked although its use was very limited, really only working with clear plastic. I've played about with it again recently and thought I would try it for a blip one of these rainy days.
