In-between the seconds

If you take the D22 direction Henrichemont then the D11 direction Bourges you pass a lot of agricultural industry. Cattle, wine and apples. When we first arrived here I wanted to buy local. Its Eco, cool and takes down the carbon foot print.

This is near St martin, famous for their apples, they are having a tough time at the moment. With the chinese imports their product is too expensive. They grow the most perfect, large, looks like it false, apples.

They are also tasteless and full of chemicals. The average apple has 17 chemical treatments before it is picked.

So I have just come back from the organic store with some small, ugly full of flavor apples.
