Wednesday 23 February 2011: Busy london

Well I was in London today in the British Library. Can't believe I haven't been in there before. Its an amazing building with some really good exhibitions and I really like the tower of books in the cafe.

Unfortunately as I was in a project management session all day I didn't really have much time for blipping. so it was this or a mediocre sunset or one of the rooms in the BL where I sneaked a shot feeling horribly self conscious (because of my self consciousness it was rubbish!). I hate being told I can't take photos it makes me feel like I've done something really naughty when in reality I haven't and they did seem to be tight on security with bag checks etc

Anyway during one of the breaks I just stood on the balcony and snapped life whizzing by on the Euston Rd. this image pretty much sums up London for me. A bit grey but with shed loads of movement. people rushing everywhere on a mission! I try to pretend to be like them when I'm on the streets but really I'm just a provincial and glad when I can go home to the normality of my rural town surroundings.

Right proverbs I must get back on track with this (been very lazy lately!)
