Tea that helps our head and heart.
Tea medicates most every part.
Tea rejuvenates the very old.
Tea warms the hands of those who're cold.

Down for the count today, headache, and a tight little cough that unleashes the 50 million tiny hammers at the ready in my head. Tea, feline sympathy and sleep, the orders of the day. This little grimy miniature tea set was my grandmother's as a child, well loved and somehow passed down intact through the generations. Looks like it needs a bit of a scrub at close inspection, but that won't be happening today. The woman in the photograph behind is my maternal great grandmother, Lulu Ellen,who died in childbirth when my grandmother was barely two.

Off to heat the kettle and settle in with a cup and a cat.
