Thursday 24 February 2011: Melting...

The sun is shining today for the third day in a row!! It's still pretty cold out there, but the snow and the ice that is facing the sun is melting away.

You can now start to see a different color to the tree branches, indicating that the new buds are starting to form. Birds are flying around the yard, and small patches of grass are popping through the snow. Could Spring be right around the corner???
