Thursday 24 February 2011: Jodrell Bank

It was getting late when I started back to the South East and I have only just got in after a really bad drive back, M6 and M25 were extremely bad.

But I did go by the large Telescope at Jodrell Bank, it has been about since 1945 and was built on a shoestring by Sir James Lovell, and this Telescope in the MkII called The Lovell Telescope.

I thought I would get a few shots before heading home, and once again I didn't meet up with Hebs, perhaps next time I'm up there.
