Thursday 24 February 2011: I'm thinking a burger there next week...
I haven't been to the Mercury Diner in a long while. There breakfasts are pretty good. Decor is neon and 1950s styles (idealized or kitchie, take your pick) which is a common theme among a number of diner franchises. If Linda is working a night or two next week, I may stop by for a burger. I haven't had a nice, juicy, flame-broiled hamburger in a looooooong time. That monstrous building in the background is the year-old parking garage for the 110-year-old Aurora GO Train Staion behind it.
