It was time to get an extra copy of our new flat key made, having given one to the builders. We had been told to look for the locksmith directly across the street but despite some thorough pavement scouring we couldn't find him...until today, that is, when I found 'Joe the Locksmith' sitting in the back of his little, white clapped out van just where I had been told he would be. We did the business there and then, before his mobile workshop moved off into the stream of traffic on the nearby thoroughfare.
