Swan In Devizes Marina

More rain today, but I decided against another section of the kitchen shelf and went out. I took rain-drenched pictures in several locations but the ones I preferred were all taken at Devizes Marina. It is , after all, a fortnight since I last blipped from a canal.

This swan was right in front of me in front of the boatshed when he completed his grooming and decided he needed to stretch up and shake a tail feather, and my zoom was already at its widest setting. Another fraction of a second and this vertically uncropped image would have been unusable but I think I just got away with it.
