Friday 25 February 2011: Palm Frond Bird

Now dried to a pale green, this bird was woven from a strip of palm frond by an artisan of Kauai. You can't see the whole tail in this blip, because it is 16 inches long - by the time I would include it all you'd lose the CLup shot.
