Another in the grittier/grainier street scene sequence.

Decided to stay with this series for today despite some competition in the form a delicious looking glass of beer that we had on the orla of Copacabana after over eight hours on our feet going round hardware megastores and furniture-only shopping centres.

We chose floor coverings and wall tiles, kitchen shelves and bathroom mirror, mixer taps and chests of drawers, wardrobe, desk, and folding chairs, high table, matching stools, loo seat with loo below, wash hand basin, sofa bed, bed side tables with lamps on top...everything, that is, EXCEPT INCLUDING the kitchen sink!

The real highlight of the day was actually ordering the sofa bed, that in one of its confabulations makes the most incredibly comfortable and attractive looking chaiselonge, all in deep burgundy leather (the better to clean off or hide the effects of the inevitable spilt wine glass perpetrated by a careless tenant or, even worse, by yours truly or DD!
