Saturday 26 February 2011: She's Football crazy, she's football mad..
but she isn't!! trouble is with three sons who play local league and a life long Bolton supporting husband, somehow this crept up on me and I realise of late I spend more tme watching football than chained to the kitchen sink. Emily Pankhurst would be proud ! or pale ? not sure...
Dear friends of ours treated us to an afternoon at Preston North End in full hospitality. We had a guided tour of the improved ground (very nice-both guide and ground) and fab food (Heathcote's), great entertainment (comedian had us splitting our sides). Party was half Preston supporters and half Burnley, 1-1 at half time, Burnley won 2-1 by full time, mixed party-we couldn't lose. Blip is of two of the stands.
As a ps.. youngest son's team played a really good local side today, we won 16-2 (ouch)...tomorrow is a really big day for him..I will be away again all day, I promise to catch up on everyone after tomorrow when normaility kind of resumes, hope you are all well.
