Reunited

I missed my dogs while I was away and I like to think they missed me a little bit too, even though they had a great time at the petminder's, as they always do.

When I collected them yesterday afternoon Basil and Polly were worn out following a week of socialising with lots of other dogs and they spent the rest of the day sleeping it off. This morning, however, they were raring to go so we went to Older Hill. Here they did all the usual stuff: ran around, sniffed things, played chase, got stuck in some mud and had to be rescued...and made a new friend. I never did find out his name but they certainly hit it off. Having said that, Basil seems to be a little wary of his rival in this shot...
