Sheer Brass.

Went out last night with some mates and because I didn't get in till silly 'o' clock and feeling a little fragile I decided on an unashamedly easy one today. This is a brass crocodile or alligator? that used to sit on the hearth of my gran and granda's fire in Thornley. Always loved it when I was a kid. I think some of the scuff marks on his nose might well have been down to me, in fact, as I remember, he actually ended up in the fire on a couple of occasions!
