Monday 21 May 2007 : One of a brood...

Near our house there was a pheasant with her brood of 9 chicks, but unfortunately she was one side of a wall, and they were the other. So Fiona and I spent a few minutes catching the little ones, and putting them on the right side of the wall. Mum was quite distressed and so were the little ones, but as soon as they got the right side of the wall, they ran into the hedgerow where she was.

By the way, I hate autofocus.
