when i get annoyed with my cat i always shout my old cats name at him by mistake. this annoys me even more which is ridiculous as i doubt if he cares what i'm calling him while i run after him shouting and waving my arms about in the air...

i think i am right that cats are the only animal that play with their food before/instead of eating it.

    probably our fault.

  5. @ausmossie: he has my sympathy...and respect. I'm nicking that line!
@amnesia: killer whales play with their food beforehand - so unless Free Willy started a craze on his release, I don't think we can take the rap for that!

My cat has grown out of killing things than god....I went through a phase with her when every day she was trying to bring something dead or half dead throught the cat flap. She probably thinks it`s to much effort now.
