Sunday 24 January 2010: January Gorse
How lovely to see the beginning of the year's flowering of Bach Flower Remedy plants. This is one of the first gorse buds I've seen this year. Before Blip I probably wouldn't even have noticed it.
I've decided to dip out of Blip for now; my inner guidance is telling me I need to focus my love and attention on other things. Thank you everyone who has popped by to share kind words and thoughts, I appreciate every one. I've seen hundreds of inspiring images, read millions of evocative words, glimpsed into many people's lives and developed a much greater appreciation of photography. Thank you everyone. May all the blessings and love you could ever wish for be yours.

Lovely shot.
Such a hopeful shade of yellow!
Best wishes for your time away.
I understand the need to take a break and re focus the energy.
I may be doing the same thing before too long.
Thank you always for your kind, insightful words and thoughts in regards to my images.
Take care.

Hurry back. Everyone is due a bit of time off but don't make it too long.

Thank you - for all your wonderful blips and kind, helpful thoughts. I fully understand your reasons for dipping out - but hope you will one day dip back in. Take care and good luck.

Hey, sorry you are leaving, understand though. Hope it is just a hiatus and you come back soon. Take care my friend.

I love the raindrops on the flower. Thanks for all of the info you've given to us. And keep up the good work on your website. Subcribing to your e-newsletter will be a great way to keep a finger on what you're doing!!

A lovely image, but hope it won't be your last - you'll be greatly missed on here. Just pop in when you can, ok? :-)

this is a lovely image...but i'm sad you're planning to leave....why???
i guess i sort of understand the need to refocus....but i guess i just hope you won't need to be gone for too long....it's funny eh, having never met you, but i feel a weird kind of lose at the idea of you making a decision like this....and i want to say that i wish you well in your future, but do you have to go....oh now i sound like a whiny little kid.....sorry, don't mean to give that impression - take good care and come back when you can...we'll be here ;)
cheers, linda

See you when you get back.

The gorse blooms and flowerspirit departs, how very poetic. I've loved your images and all the knowledge you've imparted. Feel close to you, somehow, because of your insightful and delightful comments in my journal. I'll miss all of that, a lot! Good role model you are, listening to what you need and doing it. Hope that there's a communal tug that pulls you back, but if there isn't, I wish you well whereever you do focus your energies!

I echo Linda's thoughts. Totally understand that you feel you have to refocus, this place can be very absorbing. But I will really miss your presense and words.
Please come back, when it's right for you! Even for a visit!

sorry to see you go. perhaps you'll dip back in when the time is right. i think anyone who's done this for any length of time understands the need to occasionally re-focus.
i've been meaning to thank you for your lovely comment on my bliptogether self portrait. i'm really not that young or glamorous. what you don't see in the photo are the grey hair roots, the crows feet, the food-stained sweatshirt under my parka and the very unglamorous snow boots. i haven't been called young or glamorous in ...oh...10 years. you made my week :)

Love your newsletter and your new project. It's been a great place to meet you and learn so much about your essences. Thanks for everything and when you have the time and a flower or two to share, perhaps we'll meet you back here again.

We're missing your Blips.
~ G

Oh I missed this one, sorry not to see your blips anymore. Hope you pop in every now an again, miss your 'flow'. All the best in your endeavors, take care BB.
~ BB

Like BB, I missed this when it was posted. I also find it hard to devote as much time to blipfoto as I would like to, especially keeping up with all of the wonderful journals on here and the kind folks like yourself who make 'blip' the friendliest place I've come across on the web. I hope this is just a temporary break for you, as your journal is full of inspiration and fascinating information. I feel awful that I'm typing this almost a month after you left, and hope you come back to check up every now and again.

Oh hello sweet flowerspirit!!!

Hello hello -- I've returned to the gorse, this exquisite photo, to thank you for your kind words on my big blipday -- so touched! Just re-read this entry and wanted to let you know I was also feeling a bit of a tug to "dip out" this past while. It seems to have passed though... Miss you!
