The Edge of the Wold

Wifie and spraybow (nearly)

A very early flight from Manchester on Monday morning, so we spent Sunday night in a hotel near the airport. In the late afternoon we went for a walk along the coastline.

The waves were breaking against the black volcanic rock in this little bay, throwing up curtains of spray. The low sun behind us illuminating the spray was creating ephemeral spraybows. I couldn't get into a position whereby I could photograph both Wifie and the full spraybow without my own shadow in the picture, so this was the best I could get - just the merest hint of the bow.

This is the first of the backblips. I won't say where we've been, if anyone is interested they can perhaps guess. I shall keep these backblips short, blippers barely have time to look at backblips never mind read a load of verbage.
