Blame Joan and Colin for me joining up! I'm in no way a professional - I barely scrape amateur - but love the idea of sharing a daily photo with the world!

I used to use a Sony Cybershot P-10 'point & shoot' camera that I bought in 2003. All of my blips up to July 2011 were taken with it. A nice handy pocket size camera that served me well! Blip forced me to discover and make use of the cameras features that hadn't been touched until that point.

Now though, the Sony has taken a back seat as, for my 40th birthday, I got a brand spanking, shiny new DSLR. I'd only been bleating on about getting one since joining the site!!

So, after a long absence from Blipfoto, I'm back and raring to go again. I look forward to blipping again and look forward to seeing all my fellow blippers pics too!
