Sunday 12 February 2012: Brasserie De La Senne Taras Boulba

I brought a few bottles of beer home from our journey to Helsinki last weekend. This dry and hoppy Belgian ale was a great find, it's very good, especially considering it's just 4,5 % alc. Such mild alcohol volume isn't optimal for most beer styles.

P.S. I just love the label on this beer:)

P.P.S. Smeerlap means swine/bastard in Dutch. I'd suppose "smeirlap" is (somewhat) the same.
