About Timberjack's photos

I'm a 30 years old dude. I live in the city of Kuopio in Eastern Finland. I used to live at Vantaa, next to Helsinki in Southern Finland from the start of my blip journey (14th Dec 2008) until the end of July 2010.

During winter/spring 2011 I took a forestry class and in June I started working as a timberjack.

I've photographed more or less actively (mostly in digital format) since 2004. In autumn 2007 I started taking nature photographing classes and became more active in photographing. I bought a DSLR on 2008.

I basically shoot anything that catches my eye (and my gear is sufficient to deal with). Most of all I photograph landscapes (both city and nature), close-ups of plants and sometimes people.

Reasons why I joined Blip:
-Interesting concept of sharing photos and documenting your daily life
-A good way to see pictures from other countries and cultures
-Learning from other photographers

Criticism is welcome and appreciated.
