Sunday 13 September 2009: Around the Brain in 80 Days!

Dragged out of bed early again this morning!

This time it was one of the dogs wanting to go out. Imagine the confusion running through the dawn mists in my old brain when I glanced round to see this ballon floating serenely past the house as the dogs shot past my legs.

The peace and quiet interupted for a change, not by barking dogs but by the gentle 'roar' of the ballon's gas burner.

I stumbled back indoors and grabbed my camera, a quick shot, the dogs back inside and me back to bed and asleep all in a moment or two.

This evening, The Children's Mother said,

"It's a pity you didn't get a Blip today."

I had forgotten all about it. Perhaps the children are right after all........!!

  1. Glad you remembered you'd taken it in that sleepy state.

  2. Quick thinking at that time in the morning, even if you did forget it later! Beautiful - I love to see hot-air balloons and this one certainly brightens up a grey sky.

Re your comment on mine about missing something - most of the discussion is in the forum under 'inappropriate content'. A sad episode for blip.
