About Wings and Things

For the past 15 years I have worked at a large city-owned aviary. We have over 200 birds on display, primarily waterfowl and exotic pheasants. This beautiful educational facility is located in a large park and is free to the public. Hundreds of school children tour the aviary every year. So, hence my journal being named, "Wings and Things," -- my many feathered friends will be a primary focus! In addition to being an animal-lover, I like to run, swim and spend time with my family.
