Saturday 20 March 2010: Wishing You Much Cash & Freedom
I pretty much kept it together yesterday - I welled up saying goodbye to a couple of folk but I didn't sob (this was partly due to being weirded out by the whole situation and partly cos I limited my vodka intake). Don't tell anyone this but I did have a wee cry today when I read my card properly. I have clearly fooled my colleagues over the years cos they wrote some lovely things in my leaving card. Well, most of them did ;)
If you're reading this, BBC folk, thank you so much for the send-off. I had a great time yesterday and have had a blast working with you all.
Could someone please pass me a tissue?
