Saturday 11 February 2012: Brown Pelican
We stopped by Cesar Chavez Park this afternoon, looking for the burrowing owls that come here this time of year. Someone pointed out an owl to us, sitting on the rocks by the waterfront, ignoring the fenced off area provided by Berkeley for the owls to nest. Unfortunately, my shots of the owl didn't come out well, but I got some pelican shots, as well as some other birds and ground squirrels.
