Was somewhat brief initially when filling this out so here goes.....
Female, originally from the UK but moved to NZ in May 2006 never to return I suspect. Love the place like I was born here. The landscape blows me away and the people too.
Photography-wise, have always been a keen amateur photographer and have graduated from an old Zenith SLR through to a Canon SLR and then I went on to play with a Canon 350D, which seriously opened the world of photography up for me. This year (Oct 2010) I treated myself to Canon 7D - hopefully my last camera purchase for a while!!!
My first love is landscapes followed by close ups of flowers and nature etc,Hence recently buying a Macro lens that cost me what feels like a fortune!
I joined blip on a friends recommendation and am finding the discipline of taking a photo a day difficult already! But I've always liked a challenge!
