About Fluvial wanderings

I am river engineer with living in Bellingham, Washington practicing in the field of river science throughout the Pacific Northwest. I consider myself a river enthusiast and advocate for wild places and natural processes. My expertise of the river environment is derived from a background in civil engineering, hydraulics, and geomorphology combined with personal interest in the field. I am involved with a wide variety of river projects that include hydraulic modeling, fluvial geomorphology, channel migration analyses, channel and river restoration design, engineered logjam design, sediment transport, and bridge scour. I also volunteer locally as a member of the Nooksack Salmon Enhancement Associate (NSEA) Board of Directors and participate in the WRIA 1 Combined Technical Review Team.
