Wednesday 22 May 2013: Day 63 - Raisin
So Raisin's cage needed changing and Claudia wanted to hold him... I think we managed to achieve that! They were both surprisingly gentle with him. Amy couldn't contain the occasional squeal of excitement but they were mostly both quiet, and they stroked him very gently.
They're certainly growing up fast; it wasn't so long ago they would have both tried to crush him!
In other news, I have finished an awesome cow print carrier (I don't normally share, but it's such a funky fabric, I just had to make an exception!).
And that's it. It turns out my utter exhaustion over the last couple of days has been due to an impending cold (yes, ANOTHER one!) which hit full force last night and made for a very crappy evening.
Still, only 23 days or so until the husband comes home for his halfway break. It can't come soon enough, I can tell you. 63 days may not sound like much, but it's definitely not in the 'time flies' category - it's well and truly dragging by!
