Wednesday 22 May 2013: Mother Duck and Little Ones

I have been to the Mckenzie Marsh a few times this spring and the first time I was here, there was a Canada goose sitting on this nest, the second time I came by, it looked abandoned and now there is a family of ducks there today. The little ones looked so sweet with mom keeping a close eye on them. While I took their picture another mother duck swam under the bridge with her brood and went to the far side of the marsh. Lots of turtles out sunning including new baby ones and to my surprise a muskrat came swimming by,a first at the marsh for me.

I borrowed Edward's blip site to post the muskrat. Do have a look.
