Sunday 12 February 2012: Sacred Spaces

Needed to get into the forest today, to breathe. The initial grey skies melted into blue, and the sun's heat touched my skin. Spring is here - you could feel it all around, the earth warming.

I loved the way the sunlight illuminated the bark on these trees, and it reminded me of some of the reading I've been doing, which talks about forests as the original "cathedrals". You'll get no argument from me...
