I stumbled across the Blip app for iPhone and loved it instantly. I started this Journal because photography has been a hobby for many years now. Unfortunately I hardly find time to put more effort in this hobby, so this provides me the challenge and opportunity in taking pictures on a regular basis.

It's great seeing pictures posted from all over the world, by people sharing a mutual interest: photography. It provides a wonderful and inspiring view on the world we live in, in both pictures and words. Besides that I get to see places I will probably never visit.

Most of my blips will be shot by iPhone (4G), since I have this with me every day. Big challenge: making the ordinary look less ordinary or maybe even special. I do use some iPhone apps to enhance my images though: Camera+, PS Express, Mill Colour, occasionally TiltShiftGen.

I'm not much of a writer while blipping, I like the concept of 'let the image do the talking'. Besides, typing on an iPhone is a crime. So no fancy write ups, sorry ;-) I do comment on entries however and hope to give a constructive feed back.

I subscribe to a journal when I think a blipper inspires me with his or her style or sense of humour.
