Monday 12 May 2008 : flowers feed the soul
and so does a bit of online shopping
I'm in the market to either buy CS3 for mac or a nice new lens.
Now I'm completely in the dark when it comes to this sort of thing but feel that the next step is looming. The aim in my little project is to improve my photography. Do I buy a new lens or go for software (which I won't have a clue how to use, but will keep me awake until getting up for work time).
To those of you in the know my choice is probably nonsensical but I want both and really should only buy one. So which should it be?
did I mention that a bird poo-pooed on me today? oh yes, literally!
when my mother said that I had a mallen streak I thought she meant I looked glamourous
but no
she meant I looked like a blackbird had pooed on me
my dad would have said that it was a lucky day
my mother said it was bloody typical for a man to Sh*t on me...

gorgeous shot, lovely colors!as for your choices: i think, i would go for the lens - simply, because it offers more "instant" gratification than the software.
i downloaded the trial version of cs3 (for pc, though) last week and it slowed my computer down quite a bit, although i own a pretty new machine. it has some great new features, but it increases file size and produces huge temp files.
so if i was you, i would download the trial version and go for a "test run". adobe is kind enough to let you play with all the features for 30 days.
enough time to decide what to buy.
have a great evening, cheers from germany!

I remember the TV programme of the Mallen Streak, it seemed to indicate you were a bit of a nasty piece of work. Which isn't you at all.

although my tendencies have always been to the the north west...
talk to my dad if he was still here and he would have opted for his dumfries family; he was inclined to the mcknights...
