MARLOU, 19, the Netherlands

my interests are hard to describe, since i like almost everything. i really like challenges, adventure and new things & places, the magic of people, all kinds of arts and ofcourse travelling.

i study scandinavian languages (major: norwegian) & cultures at the university of groningen, but i'd love to learn alot more about photography. by being here i hope to get better and reach my goals:
1) take my camera out more often/every day.
2) dare to take pictures outside.
3) dare to take pictures of people,
because that's why i love. but also what i'm the most afraid of.

ps. the picture on the right is taken in march 2008, with my 35mm holga camera. and yes, i have to admit it's my favourite. :)
