Sunday afternoon
Played around in the studio with the lighting. The mannequins are very highly polished so I experimented with using cold white light on them and directed at the ceiling. There was enough power in the lights but the compromise seems to be that the wood is a tad lighter. But overall the effect is ok. Needs more work though I think.
Oh well we've had 7 inches of rain and 55 mph winds over the last 24 hours with widespread flooding and trees down.
I shall retire to the armchair now with a book and a bottle of wine. Purely medicinal of course. Just to ease my sore ribs....

Blue sky and sunshine pretty much all day here Douglas - sorry :)
The chaps have come out ok despite their being polished - light looks even enough although I can't say I'm too impressed with your lack of ironing skills :)
I don't use my large mannequins very often and really should play with them a bit more. Woody, my main man, is about 6 inches high and a few of his mates are smaller than him. Fiddly to work with but handy for props as I have a good selection of doll house goodies for him to play with.

I think you should keep the wine to yourself, as I don't think these chaps could take it. You don't want them falling over and breaking a joint, do you? You take care of your ribs too.

I hope you didn't strain your rib muscles laughing at the weather you've been having.

Nice shot Douglas, I think the worst weather is behind you now. You should be starting to get Spring like weather soon. I hope!
