A Scot by birth , an American by choice. That's meant to be a compliment to both nations but many people object to me saying it.
Freedom of Speech, Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of the perfect Photograph an' aw that, is my response :-))

Busier than ever traveling with camera, books and music. Have been in the Amazonas several times. Plus most of South America. Have gone where many fear to tread and eaten what many fear to eat and drunk what many drink but do not live long enough to tell the story.

Trekked through the rainforests of Peru for my 60th birthday and still have the scars to prove it. Just me a tracker , a hunter , a camera and wearing good old Hunter wellies to help prevent snake bites.

Blipping has been very rewarding for me. Meeting many friendly people from all walks of life who share their love of photography and learning so much from them.

Have realized late in life that it really is the thought that counts.

Have always had a short fuse and although I'm finally maturing a little but bigotry and intolerance are guaranteed to set me off on a rant or three.

Have fantasies about Pittenweem fish suppers and a pint at the Old Golf Inn in Crail.

Some think I'm a few bricks short of a hod. They're wrong. I'm actually very bright in that I have 2 brains. Unfortunately 1 is lost and the other one is out looking for it.
