About michh's low-tech snaps

Temporarily, I live in Magdeburg beside river Elbe, located 120 km from Berlin, Germany; most images will be taken here. My preferences in photographics are architecture, nature and daily chaos... you will not find family shots here, in none of several possible ways. The self portrait to the right was caught on the reflections of a showcase of a used goods shop which's window was broken (assumedly by thieves) and repaired with polysiloxane and glas.

I'm going to emigrate after having finished my studies of Computational Visualistics what is in its inner core Computer Sciences at the University of Magdeburg, so the becoming collection may be regarded as my souvenir of the town. Before my stay here, I lived in Berlin and worked as a craftsman, also organised cultural events, composed & recorded music as well as acoustical collages.

As a camera, I initially used a low techy Olympus C-1Z with 1,3 megapixels. I got me a Canon SX100 IS end of September 2008, which offers a big increase in quality and fun, for me and hopefully for you.
