Pom-poms

The building that Houses the Bromley House Library was also once home to Nottingham's first commercial photographer's studio, evidence of which lingers on in the attics (there's a picture of the darkroom window here, if you're interested.) The room here still has the drying racks for photographic plates fixed to the wall, though you can't actually see them from this angle. I've been meaning to take this picture for a while, but I wasn't expecting someone to have 'dressed the set' for me with a tin bath full of woollen pom-poms. A lucky break, I feel (apparently it's a piece of 'fine art'...)
