Sunday 27 November 2011: Stormy weather

Busy day today - A's 32nd birthday and a storm hit at the same time, and we opted for having A's family birthday dinner in the house in the archipelago to get a closer look at the stormy seas. It was amazing out there, to say the least! I've spent most of today outdoors, and about one hour climbing rocks and fighting the wind to get all the way out to Salskärs Udde (Cape of Salskär) where the wind and waves come in straight from Kattegat. This shot is from there, of course.

We also got to watch the neighbour's lawn and patio get flooded, and saw the water rise over every jetty in sight but ours. Exciting times :) And all the while the sun was shining merrily. A spectacular day!

On another note, this is my 666th blip. It feels like I should've blipped someone with horns for this one, but I spotted no such person during the day, so you'll have to make do with this ;)
